The kids are in bed and DH is busily preparing for work tomorrow, so I thought I would take advantage of this "alone time" and finish a canvas I started last week. My oldest daughter is reading Shakespeare's early tragedies for a school assignment, so I took my inspiration from there. The image is a Waterhouse painting of Juliet. The quote is from the second act of the play:
" What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet."
It's simple, but it's DONE!
